I don't have an Annie Wines in my list, nor do I have any Manys. (The Wines are on my mother's side, along with Corwin, King, Youngs, and Tuthill) My gggrandparents were James McKune and Agnes Christie, born in Scotland in 1800 and 1791 resp. They migrated to US in about 1834 and apparently lived in Staten Island where my ggrandfather, David, was born. In 1840 they purchased land in Logan County, Ohio from two Christie brothers (cousins of Agnes?) - land that originally belonged to Thomas Christie in Virginia. They are listed in the 1840 census in Logan County.
I would love to make some connection with McKunes in NY. James' bros were: John Galletry(b 1796); Thomas (b,1802); & George (b. 1805) in Dumfries.
