Hi Penny,

Yes, that is exactly what I hope to get a copy of. Do you have the source info such as the name of the newspaper and the date of publication? If the article is very short, would you be willing to transcribe it word-for-word? It would be greatly appreciated.

My friend's descendancy is as follows: Lucy's son, William VINYARD, married Nancy QUIGLEY. Their daughter, Sarah Emeline VINYARD married John Simpson NEWNOM. John & Emeline's daughter, Jennie, was my friend's grandmother.

Aside from the short article, have you found a will that might help prove that Anthony CRAFTON was Lucy's father? Have you found any marriage record for Anthony CRAFTON? Lucy supposedly married John VINYARD in Logan County, KY in 1806. So far, I can't find any marriage record. Do you have any info on the QUIGLEY line? William was buried at Walkerville Cemetery. Do you know where & when Nancy was buried? I would think she was buried there, too. I found her in the 1865 Illinois census living in Walkerville. I'm also looking for Emeline's birthdate as well as John & Emeline's exact death dates and burial locations. So many unanswered questions! Feel free to contact me at sgunther@mtaonline.net

Susan
