Hello, Gary!
Glad to hear from you!!
Johann Thiess(Thieb?)didn't die aboard ship on the way to America, as it would have been logged in on the ship's log. He died in Germany in 1753 before his wife and the rest of the children came over. The two oldest sons came over to America in 1752. Wheather they married or not, I'm not sure, but I have heard that they fought in the Revolutionery War, and after that, there is no record of them, as I have heard.
Johann Christian is my 6th. great-grandfather. If you want any of the info that I have, I will be glad to send it to you. It will have to be by snail-mail, though.
My snail-mail address: Nana Seiring

If you could send me any info you may have on the Winebrennes, I would be glad to exchange info with you. Just send me your snail-mail address, and I will get my info to you as soon as I can.
Thanks in advance,Nana Seiring(Winebrenner)
