The parents of Jonathan Windsor were probably William Windsor and Matilda White of Kanawha Co. West Virginia, and later Campbell Co. and Kenton Co. Kentucky.
Jonathan Windsor married Martha Wellborn, probably in Hardin Co. Tennessee. They had one son William B. Windsor who died in Lousiana. William B. Windsor was born in Tennessee, but returned to Mason Co. West Virginia where in 1865 he married his first cousin, America J. Wiley, daughter of Rankin Wiley.
William Windsor was the son of Jonathan Windsor (1750-c1839) of Charles Co. Maryland and Kanawha Co. West Virginia. Jonathan was a Revolutionary soldier and applied for a government pension but was denied due to lack of proof of service. Jonathan's wife was Mary ------.
Jonathan Windsor was son of Joseph Windsor (c1725-1782) of Charles Co. Maryland.
Joseph Windsor was son of Joseph Windsor (c1700-) of Charles Co. Maryland.
Joseph Windsor was son of Jarvis Windsor (c1659-1731) of England, who came to St. Mary's Co. Maryland in 1679, but soon afterward removed to Charles Co. Maryland.
