My fault it took a little longer to find the info than I thought it would.
Boyd said contact him directly at bvpowell@hotmail.com. An aside, Boyd is very knowledgeable on matters relating to the House (Hows, Howse OR Howes) family in colonial MD and I feel you will get more complete info from him.
I have been intrigued by my ancestral Windsor (Winsor Winzer) family since the early 1970's. My early research predated the PC and was done in the NYC public library c1975. I did not at that time cite sources or otherwise record the reasons for my conclusions. For example in c1934 James Simmons Winsor A grandson of Thomas was quoted (in a MD historical quarterly) as saying According to my father (Henry Winsor son of Thomas) my grandfather came to the US in colonial times. I had written that down in the 70's and have been able to find it again.
To the point: I am familiar with the deed it is of course recorded in liber BS1 on page 55. A few points related to it
1)On the date of this deed AMW (born 9/4/1823) was 4 years old It is logical to conclude that her father purchased it in her name.
2) Other people listed in the deed who may have a relationship with the Windsor family include Basil Mobley.
On page 350 of "MCMD marriage Licenses" by J.T. Manuel The marriage of 2 Katherine Winsor's is noted. The 1816 marriage to Nathan Clagett is definitely the marriage of Arnold's sister. However in 1815 a Basil Mobley is listed as marrying Catherine Winsor. The later marriage is far more mysterious but it is possible that Thomas' widow Catherine remarried. (I have found no conformation for this and I consider it unlikey)
3) In 1840 Arnold moved his family to Missouri where he died 2 years later. It seems the entire family remained in Missouri. Some biographical data on the Winsor's in MD in the mid 19th century is cataloged in the MC historical/ genealogical offices behind the Upton Beall house in Rockville they include an account of Arnold's migration to (and passing in) Missouri.
I am going to forward this now before I lose it (my computer skills are suspect) I hope this info is useful and will continue it a little later.

PS :In an effort to understand the deed (BS1 55) I transcribed it into a word program for my own use I assume you have done the same however if my translation would be of use I would be happy to forward it
