I looked at the deed index book for Montgomery Co. Maryland, and there is not 1822 deed between Edward Howse (etc.) and Ann Marie Winsor. Perhaps you are refering to Anna Marie Windsor who married Thompson McGready Ewing and lived in Lafayette Co. Missouri. I also don't find an Ann Marie Ewing or a Thompson Ewing in the Montgomery Co. deed book for the time period. Do you know the book and number for this. Also Beaden or Baden is a name used among the descendants of Catharine Windsor. Two of her grandchildren from different linea wrote letters stating her maiden name as Baden or Beaden. The term "nephew" is not necessarily a description. For example, Catherine may have married a first husband, who could have been a brother of Edward Howse. That means her maiden name would not have been Howse. Perhaps they had no children and the first husband died . Then Catherine married Thomas Windsor and had children. Edward Howse, may have regarded Catherine fondly and called her Windsor children "nephews". Anyway my point is that "nephew" does not necessarily prove Catherine's maiden name was Howse.
