Ancestry of Windle in Limerick / Kerry

I am trying to research the history of my family but I don't yet have a lot of information. I am living in Hatfield, England. I wonder if you can help in any way.

This is what I know so far:

My father was Gerald Edward Fitzgerald Windle (1919 - 1965) and he had one sister, Helen Margaret Mary Windle. He left Ireland in about 1938.

My grandfather was James Fitzgerald Windle (1870 - 1914). He was a Civil Engineer and was married to Mary Raphael (or Rachel) McGuire. I have seen a copy of his obituary. He died in one of the early car accidents (1914) and was apparently the youngest of about 16 children. (Among them were Thomas McCarthy Windle, Lilian Windle and Margaret Windle, I believe. I do not know any other names or details.)

My Great Grandfather was James Fitzgerald Windle (? - 1889). The details of a will he drew up for Thomas McElligott on 21/07/1881 are on the internet. He witnessed the signature together with John Fitzgerald Windle. They were both Solicitors in Tarbert, Co. Kerry but I don't know their relationship to each other. The elder James apparently owned about 550 acres of land in the Tarbert area.

I have found an intriguing document which indicates that the elder James leased some land in Ballygoughlan to Reverend Michael Malone in 1884 for 61 years and a school was built on the land. In 1957 his successor, Father Michael Ryan attempted to extend the lease. The document was hugely helpful in that it gave me the names of the uncle and two aunts of my father but later correspondence indicates that there were several more in the family.

I have seen mention of the following place names in various letters: Tarbert, Glin, Athea and Moyvane.

Any help would be much appreciated.
