Do you have the Benjamin Brodie Winborne book? It has a picture of Caroline. What I am even more interested in is the Moore genealogy. I have listed the three brothers of Britton as Samuel, Albert and Henry and his parents as Allen and Ann Warren. Do you have birth dates and other information? I note that there were other Moore's in the family and that Moore's sold land to the Winbornes. Do you have any information at all regarding the marriage of Pattie to John A. Finch? Do you have a death date? I have searched for a death certificate for them in Chowan County and through the state archives with no success. My father knew nothing about his ancestry, The only way that I was able to connect to this family was thorugh a slip of paper that my grandmother gave to me. I am now trying to establish what Finch family John came from. I have seen the book Finch families of Dixie. Hope to hear from you soon. Do you think you could e-mail me directly?I really am thrilled to contact a living member of the Moore family and will be traveling to the area soon.
