This sounds like Oliver Winans, born 16 January 1813 at Tyre, New York, died June 1893 at Canandaigua, New York, the son of Halsey Winans and Rachel Ann Brown. In 1832 he married Elizabeth Bennett, who was born 17 March 1816 at Junius, New York. He married second Ann Barber, and 3rd Caroline Eastman, who was born 1 January 1830 at Canandaigua, New York and died 18 September 1889, also at Canandaigua, the daughter of Peter Eastman and his wife Margaret ______.
Children of Oliver Winans and Julia Bennett:
1. Richard Mahlon Winans, born 5 January 1835 at Tyre, New York, died 16 February 1894 at Junius, now Tyre, New York, never married.
2. Mary Jane Winans, born 10 July 1837 at Tyre, New York, died 25 June 1893 at Junius, NY, married 25 November 1861 at Tyre, NY to Robert Jackson White.
3. Catherine Amelia Winans, born 8 April 1840 at Tyre, NY.
Oliver also had 3 children by his second wife, Mary, Herman and Frank; and six children by his third wife, Emma, Robert Murray, William Oliver, Lewis Halsey, Frederick M. and Ida Mary.
