Margariet Elizabeth Wimmer, 88, of Greenville, Ohio and more recently of Brook Haven Nursing and Care Center, passed away on Friday April 4, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.
She was born on May 3, 1919 in Xenia, Greene County, Ohio to the late John Henry Heindl and Margariet Truebenbach.
She attended Twin Creek Chapel, had worked at Lewisburg Box Factory and was a homemaker. She loved crocheting, reading and baking decorative cakes.
Margariet was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Wimmer, whom she married on Sept. 24, 1938 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, Dayton, Ohio. She is the last of her generation, having been predeceased by six brothers, Arthur, Louis, John, Henry, Walter and Richard Heindl.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Bill Mathieson, Greenville, Beverly and Phillip Farmer, Brookville and Peggy and Bill Leeper, Lewisburg; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 7 g-g-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Tuesday April 8, 2008 at 11AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, with her grandson the Rev. Chris Farmer officiating. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be beside her husband at Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio.
