Polly married Henry Surber (not Thurber)abt. 1833 in IN. Family lived in IL (Warren Co)in abt.1845-55. Moved to TX (county unknown) in 1856 or '57. Children were Peter, Elizabeth Avenell (husband Wm Avenell), John (wife Missouri Stephens), Joseph, Erial, Margaret, & Jacob moved with them. Both John & Elizabeth had sons born in TX in 1857 & '58 according to 1860 census. The families were back north to MO by the 1860 census, but Henry, Polly, & Peter were not with them & not found again. Think they may have died while in TX or while moving. Can't find anything on them. Does anyone have info on Polly after her marriage?
