Looking for connections to the Henry & Mary(Wimmer)Surber, m. ca. 1830-32 in Madison Co. IN. Family lived in Warren Co. IL in 1850. Moved from IL (or MO) to TX (county unknown) in 1856 or '57. Their children Peter, Elizabeth Avenell (husband Wm Avenell), John & wife Missouri Surber, Joseph, Erial, Margaret, & Jacob moved with them. Henry was a farmer. Both John & Elizabeth had children born in 1857 & '58 while in TX. The children all moved back to MO by the 1860 census, but Henry, Mary, & Peter are not heard of again. Think they may have died in TX. Would appreciate any leads to this family in TX.
