In Reply to: Re: GEORGE WIMER OF PENDLETON CO WV by Eugene Wimer of 154

We did not consider Henry Wimer in TIWB because there was no documented connection but he must be a brother. He is in the same age range, and there seems to be no better reason to come to Pendleton than to join his brothers.
Also Henry, Philip and George all had sons named Henry and daughters named Barbara. Could this be a clue to their parentage?
And where was Henry when George & Philip were indentured and where was he during the "lost years" of 1771-94??
I briefly explored Henry's family in IMMIGRANT HENRY WIMER in 1993
Don Hinkle died in 1991 but I have been busy in the last 10 years correcting and revising portions of TIWB. For instance, the Thompsons DO NOT BELONG in Line I. Sarah Simmons did not marry William Thompson but married ELIAS ZICKEFOOSE JR. and her sister Barbara married his brother HENRY
