William Wiltshire of Ansty, born c 1823 and transported to Australia in 1844(for sheep stealing from Hilton, Dorsetin the company of William Stickland and William Mullett). I am trying to find his ancestry and also what became of him in Australia. He shows up on the 1841 census of Ansty, in the household of Priscilla Wiltshire born c 1799. Also in the house is Mary Wiltshire born c 1825. Priscilla still appearing in the 1881 census. On his transportation order papers (recently acquired from Dorchester library) he is also known as William Gillham.
I have located a marriage record for a Priscilla Stickland and William Wiltshire Gillam in Hilton 23 April 1821, but need to learn more about the Wiltshire part please.
