The Greyhound Pub, Overton, Hampshire
Posted by: Ted Wiltshire (ID *****4546) Date: June 12, 2003 at 11:55:11

Does anyone have any information regarding the Greyhound
pub on Winchester St Overton. I have a marriage certificate
of a George Wiltshire who married Clarissa Wiltshire in
Overton on Dec 26 1837. His father is given "Late keeper of the Greyhound public house" does that mean he was deceased?. Clarissa's father is given as William Wiltshire
a Woodman. I would like to trace both families as they
both have a bearing on my line.
Any takers
regards
ted
