Robert Wilson, bound out along with his brother James after their father,Andrew Wilson,had killed his wife ,was arrested and was declared insane in Augusta County,in 1778.Robert and James were the only children in this family.

Robert Wilson,(Sea Captain),b.1730-1819 married Nancy Carnes,b.1734-1811.Both were born in Ireland,known children,Robert(oldest)moved to Blount Co,Joseph Wilson,moved to Crawfordville,IN,Margaret Wilson married David Caldwell in Blount Co,and William Wilson,b.1768-1820.William had five sons only three are know,Robert Wilson and Nancy Carnes Wilson lived out their lives with William and Mary Doyle Wilson in Sullivan Co,TN.Robert and Nancy are buried in the Wilson-Lature Cemetery,next to William and his second wife in Sullivan Co,TN.
