If your Great-Grandfather had changed the surname to "WILSEN" - do you think there could be any connection with my Step-Father's surname of "WILSENHAM"?? We've been trying to find out where the name came from, (we believe it could be Dutch or German), and if the name has been changed over the years!!! (Maybe "WILSEN" and "HAM" were amalgamated at some time. I'm unsure!!!
