Hi. I have looked for ages for any info on my WILSON line.
WILLIAM ALEXANDER WILSON b. 1876, ONTARIO? (1906 CANADA census) (1916 census lists b.1871) is said to be SCOTTISH. I know nothing of his ancestors except that he was born in "O" according to 1906 Canadian census. I presume "O" is ONTARIO.
I cannot find William or any of his family in 1901 or 1911 census**

William Sr., must have been married more than once.

Child #1 WILLIAM ALEXANDER WILSON JR. (1916-WWII Overseas Expedition attestation papers) birth certificate states that he was born DEC. 16, 1900 in KENORA, ONTARIO. His home address was 506 4th Avenue. SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA). I cannot find any information about William Jr. except 1906 and 1916 (limited) census.

About 1904 or after: WILLIAM "ALEX" WILSON, Sr. married a second wife:

LILLIAN MARY HULL/HALL I was told she was POLISH or RUSSIAN. (1906 census states place of immigration as 1904 and the letters N.S. I assumed that was NOVA SCOTIA.(**Please note that her name has changed several times in the course of her time in CANADA. My grandmother and aunt differed in opinion and have told me that Mary's last name was Hull/Hall)

Interesting facts:
CLIFFORD NORRIS WILSON
PATRICIA NORRIS WILSON
Perhaps there is a surname NORRIS in this family as this isnt typically a female name? I have found Patricia NORRIS on the net and wondered if there was some significance to the name.

The address that keeps showing up in records around 1916 is 506 4th Avenue, Saskatchewan, Canada
According to family notes:
William Sr. may haved lived in USA at some point. Maybe his family originates from there?
Some siblings moved to WINNIPEG
Some sisters married and lived in various places in USA. One was married to a HELMER?
Ruth(?) was married several times
Gladys married Harry REID lived in B.C.
Mary "Lillian" died at about 72 yrs of age, bedridden, in 1952(?), Vancouver(?), BRITISH COLUMBIA. Notes also say: Separated or divorced
"Lillian" lived in Elliot, B.C. and Oliver, B.C.
William Sr. died after September 1940 (was a carpenter and living in SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN at the time, according to my sister)

I have photos of William, Mary Lillian, Grace and Clifford.

Does anyone know when the complete ONLINE 1916 census will be released? I know about the LDS pilot search but will there be a more complete release with actual documents scanned? I have searched for so long and no one seems to know much about this family. Sorry this was lengthy. Can anyone help? Thanks for reading. Cherie
