I am searching for information on my ggggrandparents,
James Willson, b abt 1805 in Ohio and Patty Dunkin/Duncan, b abt 1803 in Ohio. They were married in Ohio and their children, all also born in Ohio:
Ananias, b abt 1830, Sarah, b abt 1832, Sylvester, b abt 1834, Lucretia, b abt 1836, Phoebe, b abt 1838, Michael, b abt 1846. I do not have township or county in Ohio.
I found this family in the 1850 census, living in Penn Township, St. Joseph Co., Indiana. Also, the oldest son, (my gggrandfather) was married in 1850 in St. Joseph County, IN to Jane Netta Wooten. I estimated their birth years by the ages in the 1850 census. Ananias dropped the second L in his name.....Wilson. I don't know if any of the other children did the same.
Living next door to this family in Penn Township are two families that could possibly be brothers to Patty, James and Mary Dunkin with Ezeikel & George, and Amos and Scintha with a baby girl.
Any assistance with these people would be most welcome.
