Dear Jan - finally got my books returned so here goes. Per the info I have - Frederick E. Wilson was born to parents, Calvin & Maria Wilson in Middlesbury, Vt. on 11-15-1829. The family settled in Butler Co, Ohio in 1836. Frederick married to 1st wife, Margrett McCann on on 3-15-1849. Margarett died 8-20-1864. Frederick married to 2nd wife, Pamelia Jarrard on 11-9-1866. Frederick was soldier in Mexican War and served over a year. He enlisted in the war of the rebellion at Hamilton, Butler Co. Ohio in the 69th Volunteer Infantry, Co E as Sergant. He was commissioned 2nd Lt of Co F in 1863. In one year he was promoted to 1st Lt of Co H. He was recommended as Captain after the battle of Mission Ridge, but was forced to resign and return home on account of the death of 1st wife, Margarett. The children of the 1st marriage I have found as: Elizabeth (about 1850). Calvin 5-21-1851 (died in Ok.) George (about 1855). Lorra (about 1857).
