This sounds like the line from John Willson b 1709 in Antrim, m Mary b 1716 in northern Ireland. Son Jacob born in Plainfield CT 14 Jan 1754, fought in Revolution, married Ruth Knight on 7 April, 1784 in Windsor, VT, then ultimately moved to western New York State.

Are these the same people? Jacob had brothers named John and Joshua. I have no information about a brother Robert.
