Harnett County, NC Wilsons

I am searching for any information on James David Wilson and Lillie Mae Wilson from the Harnett County and surrounding areas. They were married February of 1928. James was born 12/10/1902, died March of 1971. His parents were Polk and Anna Bell ( maiden name Monroe). He had, to my knowledge, two brothers...John and Danny..one sister, Bertha. James and a brother were placed in an orphanage when James was about 5 years old. James ran away, possibly with his brother, from the orphanage when he was about 12 years old.

Lillie was from Harnett County. Her parents were Lula ( Christensen..not sure if spelled correctly ) and Will____. Assumed birthday is July 4, 1907, died July of 2001. She had two brothers, Walter and Ernest...and two sisters, Viola and Mac. Viola's married name was Allen. James and Lillie moved to Moore County where her family was born. They had 5 children, names are: James Polk, Dorothy Mae, William Frank, Frances Marie (me) and Richard Tracey. It is my understanding that Lillie was of Cherokee decent. Any information will be appreciated. This is all the information I have, and do not now how accurated it is. My direct e-mail address is: Gunngen@webtv.net. I will reply to all correspondence. I ask that you use the ref: Lillie Wilson in the subject line.

James and Lillie were both Wilsons before their marriage.

Thank you in advance.
Frances
