Yes, he died in Bell co., Tx. I have seen references from other researchers about a Mexican-American War service, but I haven't found out anything about it. I did do a little poking around on the subject but did not find anything conclusive. I have been working on the DAR thing. I think he may of been providing a service but not actually a soldier. I emailed Jacquelyne earlier because I wanted to email you privately and your address is hidden on genforum. Where is NARA? I would like to have copies of those documents.
