I have done a one name study of "Willox" in Australia & New Zealand and have written a couple of books on these families. Some of these families were from Glasgow eg. (1) William Willox born 1894 in Glasgow & died 1984 Glasgow (son of William) he married Isabella Cartledge. Their son Stuart William Willox came to Australia in 1963. (2) William Willox (waggon weigher & seaman) married Sarah Andrew Mills, their children: Vincent, William, Isabel & Robert. The youngest son Robert born 1924 in Coat Bridge, Glasgow immigrated to New Zealand in 1946c. (3) Stanley Willox born Glasgow, went to New Zealand via Calgary, Canada. Arrived NZ in 1946c. He married Williamina.(4) George Willox born 1861 in Aberdeen, he ran an antique shop in Springburn near Glasgow he married in 1885 to Williamina Addison. George went to NZ in early 1900s, his daughter Williamina Addison Willox went to NZ in 1910c to bring her father home. The daughter stayed in NZ and married Charles Chamberlain. George returned to Scotland and died in Scotland (possibly Glasgow) in 1943. Descendants of George's brother Alexander Minty Willox also immigrated via Canada, England and finally to Australia. Does any of the above mean anything to you? I have many other Willox families who go back further but not from Glasgow.
