I too have Willoughbys and Martins in my Mt. Sterling Willoughby Line. My tree ends with info from my great-grandmother who was born 1899. So most info is concerning 1840-1920. I have a Leander Willoughby, birth ? maybe late 1800's. His father was Issac Willoughby and Ellen Yocum, siblings were Bert, George, Henry, Marion, Leroy, Andy, Polly, and Betty. I too heard the story of a family feud. Apparently a Willoughby youth married a 1st cousin and the one grandparent shot the other grandparent, spend time in jail for murder??? My mother-inlaw told us bits of the story which she said happened when she was 10-15 yrs old (would have been 1929-1933).She would talk much about it.Don't know if it's true or what.
