This may not be the same Edlyne. However, the REV Notes, pension application, etc. are conclusive. I discovered them when I was searching the REV Pension Records of William Willoughby, born in 1759; enlisted in REV War in Spotsylvania Va, along with Edlyne. They both served in the Georgia Continental Line.

Notes: REVS7941, (REV Soldier Number) Pension was applied for15 Sept 1832 in Anson Co., N.C. Edlyne was age 80;sons Willis, Joseph, Nathan and Charles Willoughby.
