David, You speak of having information on your Willmore line back into the mid 1700's. Can you tell me, in about the year 1750-1780, where in the UK were the greatest number of Willmore families residing? Or were they very scattered even at that time?

I believe that my James P. Willmore, ( born 1803 in King and Queen County, VA, U.S.) was the son of our U.S. immigrant (given name unknown) Willmore ancestor. I am trying to locate an area where he and his family may have lived prior to sailing for the U.S.

Thank you for any help you may be able to give in this area of my research.
Carolynn.....U.S.
