Joanne,
I have found several things. One, I found that William W. Hampton's parents, Jesse and Polly (Willison) Hampton are buried in the North Hickory Cemetery. The small stones that marked their graves have long ago been broken off. They are buried right in front of her brother, James, my GGGgrandfather.
Charles Elias Willison was a great-grandson of Samuel Willison, with whom WW came to Barry Co. He grandfather, Elias was a boy of 12 at the time they came here. Elias was a 1st cousin of WW Hampton. I now have a diary entry of WW's sister, Almerie recounting her coming to Mich.
