You asked a question about the "William Willingham of AL", son of John Willingham d. 1803 Fairfield Co., SC that I did not answer; this William was in Greene Co., AL after Fairfield Co., SC.

The William Willingham m. Hannah Clemments was in Tuscaloosa Co., AL after Anderson Co., SC.

William Willingham was born on Mar 6, 1781 in South Carolina. He died
on Apr 7, 1859 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Buried in ShakeRag Methodist Church Cemetery, Mt Pleasant SE Tuscaloosa Co., Alabama.

He was married to Hannah Clements about 1803. Hannah Clements was born on Apr 10, 1781 in South Carolina, daughter of Reuben. She died on Jan 25, 1857 in, Alabama. William Willingham and Hannah Clements had, along with others, the following children:

2 i. Rueben C. Willingham was born about 1805 in South Carolina.
3 ii. Willis W. Willingham was born about 1809 in South Carolina.
+4 iii. Elijah Willingham was born ca 1811 in South Carolina

6 Nov 1813 John Willingham (his mark +), wife Mary released her dower, sold 122 a in Pendleton Dist., SC on Rocky River on Reuben Clements line, on Thomas Crows line, on Frances Crows line, on Holly Willinghams line, to William Pagett. Witnesses: Robert Kelton and William Willingham who signs his name. Recorded 16 Dec 1817 under oath of William Willingham.
