Kathy:Thanks for your generosity in posting this message re: Anne (Willing) Bingham, wife of William Bingham.I wouldn't have thought to look for her/their grave/s there.Thomas Willing and Robert Morris are known as the "financiers of the American Revolution.Willing's son-in-law Bingham spent the early years of the revolution in Martinique (sp?)gathering intelligence, guns, and gunpowder secretly from the French.
Wm Bingham was also a large investor in land in the new United States.Binghamton, New York, and Bingham, Maine were named for him. Two of their daughters married Barings from England. He was often in partnership with the Baring family in England, of the same banking house that was brought down about five to ten years ago by that person in the far east who had falsified their balance sheets.
