Hi "J",
I was on that same wave lenght, but wasn't sure. I have as his father William and mother as Elisabeth Ayers. I haven't been able to find his death cert or an obituary yet, nor his grave. My grat grandmother and grandmother kept in contact with Cora and her mother Carrie over the years and I have a couple of letters (after Cora moved to California on his death) but there is no mention of Dick's family. Back then there was more than one person with a similar name, and they were not required to list parents or exact information concerning there vitals or etc. for better tracking later on. I just thought I could connect with another ancestor from his line. I hate recording incorrect info. Thank you for resonding to my post. I see you are one of the "speical" people who help others. Susan
