Hubert: Bob Burton has induced me to get back into family history. Two records that might interest you: Zorobabel Williamson, Military Papers, Revolutionary War Army Accounts and Zorobable Williamson, Land warrants, 1778, 1779, Granville County, NC. I have just ordered copies of these and if you are interested, I can make copies for you. This is much earlier that your Zorobabel but with a name like that, there just has to be a connection.
