The Zorobabel story has been a most interesting story. Most people still have him listed as the son of William Williamson and Marth Green. DNA testing has disproved this relationship. Zorobabel is actually the son of William Williamson and Esther LNU who lived in Sampson County, North Carolina. I found a will which list Zorobabel along with his brothers and sister to make that connection. Also using DNA test there is a Lewis and John Williamson living in the same area. But, at present the common ancester between the three has not been found. John, Lewis and Zorobabel were all born within a three year period leaving me to believe that they were probably 1st or 2nd cousins. All three of us researching these people have been at a brick wall of more than 4 years now. If you might have any information on this I would be most greatful for any assistance you may offer.
