Samuel Williamson and family appear to have emigrated to PA around late 1860's or early 1870's.

Samuel born abt 1832 in Ireland. Sometime prior to the Scottish Census of 1851 he moved to Merryston, Lanarkshire, Scotland. By 1861 they appear to have moved to Dunipace in Stirlingshire ( 1861 Scottish Census). About 1854,Samuel married ( in Monkland, Lanarkshire) a Sarah ( born in Ireland) - Sarah appears to have had two sons by a previous marriage -Robert and Hugh (they were born in Scotland). Sarah's maiden name or 1st married name could have been Martin. There is then a reference to a similar family in the 1880 US census for Smith Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania,USA.

Does anyone have information on this family?

Thanks
williamn
