Jesse Williamson & Simeon Price of Simpson Co., MS.

In 1812 Jesse & Simeon "Simmy" Price Williamson were married in Darlington District, SC. and moved, to what became Simpson Co., MS., the same. They had 7 or 8 children. In June 1830 Jesse filed for divorce and it became final in Sept. 1832.
Simmy had a son with a married man, William Moore, whose name was Robert Moore b. 1832. Robert Moore and mother moved to Newton Co., MS.. Robert married Susan Matilda Williamson. Her father is said to be a John Williamson and mother unknown. Robert moved to Nacogdoches Co., TX. The 1860 census list Simmy and her son, John Williamson, living with Robert & Susan Moore.
Dicy J. Williamson d/o Jesse & Simmy married Patrick Spradley in Simpson Co., MS. In abt 1873 Andrew Jackson "John" Spradley, their son, shot and killed two of William Hays's sons, Jackson and James. AJ was forced to leave Simpson Co., MS. He went to his Uncle Robert Moore's in Nacogdoches, TX.
