So glad you are breathing. I'm breathing fine; walk 2-6 miles per day, but my face needs some resurfacing.
I have just mailed you a letter with SASE, so worried was I that I might not find you. I used an old PO Box you gave me.
Here's why I'm excited. I was looking through an old notebook I kept in the 1970s on Matthews & other genealogy in the Coward SC area. I had written practically every name in the area in my notebook, whether I suspected kinship or not. I found a person whose first name was Hybert. This was not your Hybert; it was a much later date. I had written all those notes long before I had my first communication with you.
The name Hybert is unusual. Why would someone in the Coward SC area name a kid Hybert, unless they had known that a person named Hybert had once lived there? Where else could it have come from? Best wishes, Susan
