Do you know Ezekiel Williams Prob. of Orangeburg, SC?

Does anyone have an Ezekiel Williams in their tree and can give me more information? His parents might have been james Wiliams (1698-1736) and Elizabth Bryan (ca 1708-1740).

I have the following notes on him.... from Glenda Hadley. Can anyone confirm him as a son of James Williams and Elizabeth Bryan? I have tentative birthdates of 1728-... though he inherited from his grandfather's will on 13 Mar 1741 or 1742... so he'd have to have been born sometime between 1728 and 1741.

Again, he is mentioned in his grandfather’s will of 13 Mar 1741-42. He is purported to have moved to Orangeburg, SC. Seems that they may have sold land in Elizabeth, NC and a man named Driggers was a witness.

From Glenda Hadley:
Ezekiel moved to South Carolina. His son William was executor of his will in 1799. Ezekiel was very young in 1737, when his father, James died. I have a lot of S.C. Deeds with Ezekiel on them. He was on his aunt, Priscilla Castellaw's Land Plat when she moved to Orangeburg. He ended up in Orangeburg, where my Great, Great, Great Grandfather Leven Victor Williams lived. A Theophilus and Leven were first on the same Census record in 1810 Orangeburg.

Let me know if you can fill in any more information, I'd especially like to know who his wife was, if anyone has that info.

THANKs.
Gerri Williams
