I am looking for any information about the lineage of Robert Williams who married Sallie Ann Sartin in 1861 in Madison County AL.
In the 1860 census of Madison County,AL there are two 22 yr olds named Robert Williams- one is a farmer, and one is a wagoner living with others.
I believe the one who married Sallie was in Franklin, Cty,TN in 1870 then went to Coffee Cty, TN where he married Susan Hampton in 1873- the 2 daughters he had with Sallie are with him. In 1880 he does not give the place of birth of his father---- dead end????
