I was born on November 14, 1961 at 12:45 p.m. at St, Vincents Infant Hospital in Chicago. My birth name was Angela Ann Savino.I was immediately placed with Chicago Home Bureau orphanage for adoption. I was adopted in Jan 1963 and my name was changed to Christine Marie Williams. My adoptive parents names were Robert and Lorraine Williams, who resided in Lombard, Illinois at the time of my adoption. The caseworker told my adoptive mother that I was named after my birthmother, that she was 18 at the time of my birth and unwed. My adoptive mother had sent pictures and monthly updates to the case worker which was then forwarded to my birthmother for the first 2 years after I was adopted. My adoptive parents were not allowed any contact directly with my biological mother.I do have my original adoption decree from the Court in Cook County, Illinois.
