Parvis A. Williams (m. Lorinda King)(1792-1854) Both are buried in Quaker Settlement Cemetery (Ulysses, NY) Minerva b. 1816 (m. David Heath) died in Wisconsin Oliver S. (m. Mary Van Dorn) (1817-1887)(my GGGrandfather) Mary Lorinda b. 1843 Elizabeth A. (m. Elbert Purdy)(1848-1940)(my Grandmother) (They had two other daughters who died in young childhood) Elbert died in Enfield at age 40 and Elizabeth remarried to Charles Smith. She died in Ithaca in her home on Eddy St...now part of Cornell campus. Sarah Elizabeth (m. Harry Cowen) (b. 1832) They had two children and lived in Cortland. Almira Lorinda b. 1833 never married Frances Amelia b. 1836 (m. Dr. F. Day) died in Wisconsin Parvis Austin Jr. b.1838 (m. Martha) s of 1870 census they were living in Enfield and had one child, Emma. I have not found them from that point, but I will continue to research. I have a wonderful picture of Elizabeth A. Williams with my grandfather, Elbert Purdy. Let me know your email and I will send it off. I have done some research on the Williams family and the Austin family and found a Parvis Austin in Rhode Island. I suspect that my Williams are Quakers from Rhode Island and came to Enfield in the late 1700's. There seem to be other Williams there as well...could be a family group settling there and some later moved into Ithaca. Deb Notify Administrator about this message?
