Hi Deborah,

Unfortunately, I can only reply to your inquiries with my own.

I had not known of the Parvis Williams' nor Oliver Williams' ancestral lineage
but am interested. Did any of these two families (on the Williams' side) have siblings or subsequent children that lived in Ithaca or did they remain in Enfield?

My 3X Great Grandfather Samuel Williams, with wife Betsey (nee Hill) lived in Ithaca, as seen in the 1850 census. Samuel Williams' father is purportedly a Stephen Williams and his mother was possibly an Elizabeth Williams (maiden name unknown). A great niece of Samuel Williams married into the Austin family ... Florence Williams married a Thurlow Austin.
Samuel Williams died in August 1856 and thereafter his wife Betsey/Betsie Williams and children, remained in Ithaca (the "South Hill" part of Ithaca). She never remarried.

Any possible connections that you may know of?

PS

Do you have tin-types or photos of your Williams' ancestors from the 1800s? That is one thing that I do have and it would be interesting to see if there were any similarities.
