All I know is Samuel Swearingen Jr. had a daughter who married Samuel Williams about 1762 in Edgecombe Co., NC and another daughter who married Solomon Williams about 1764 in Edgecombe Co. I don't even know for sure Samuel and Solomon were brothers. I know the Swearingens had been living in Edgecombe for about 30 years when these marriages took place. They lived in Edgecombe near the Beaufort/Pitt Co. line.
