The list of Pennsylvania Marriages Prior to 1790 shows an Enoch Williams marrying a Hannah Grey, license issued June 17, 1763.
I have seen this marriage cited in regards to two different Enoch Williamses, one born in Bedford County, PA in 1730, died 1805 in Franklin County, PA; and the other is the son of William Williams and Ellin/Ellenor Foulke of Gwynedd Twp., PA born in Montgomery County PA in 1736 (or 1726), died on Harford County MD in 1819. Which did Hannah marry?
"My" Enoch Williams is the Montgomery/Harford counties one. He is the father of Martha Williams, whose mother I am looking for. In 1776 Enoch left Pennsylvania and moved to Maryland, where in 1778 he married Ann Lancaster. I don't believe Martha is a child of that marriage; because somewhere I believe I saw 1765 as the date of her birth and also because ca. 1787 she married Benjamin Lancaster who is the brother of Ann Lancaster (ie her uncle).
Can anyone confirm which Enoch married Hannah Grey and/or who the mother of Martha Williams Lancaster was?
