February 13, 1776, Doctor John Williams of Charlotte County appeared in Congress presents his Credentials , which were filed and are in the words and figures as follows,to wit: at a general meeting in White Creek, January 25, 1776, it was unaminously agreed that Doctor John Williams and Mr. Alexander Campbell should represent the County of Charlotte in said Province , in provincial Congress until the second Tuesday , next. By Order of said Meeting
Brigadier General Woodhull, President, Can some one tell me who this John Williams is??
