This record was taken on October 7, 1945, by Ralph Warren from his aunt, Emily Susan Marlan. This is the birth date records of her parents and family. She was 68 years old at the time. At the time of her father's death in 1911, (Absalom Moses Williams) she was married with the last name of Keating, living in St. Louis, Missouri. I would like to know more about this family and especially Mary Jane Wilburn. I have been told by family that she was Cherokee Indian and was orphaned. If anyone has information about this family please contact me. Emily's sister, Margaret was my great grandmother.

Absalom Moses Williams died at Paden, Oklahoma, on or about February 19, 1911. At the time of his death, Tabitha (Williams) Smith, was named the administrator of his estate. Riley was not named as heir. This is the list of the children's names from that petition for letters of administration.

This Petition for Letters of Administration was found in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma. The date on it is February 19, 1911. Tabitha was living in Paden, Ok, at the time of her father's death. She is listed as the administrator of the estate. Mary Jane, her mother is not listed on the estate paper. Riley, her brother, is not listed in the heir's list. Tabitha's signature is large and her name is spelled, Mrs. Tabitha Smith.
