I have a John McClain that Marred Mary Williams in Green county on 19 Sept 1822 by Abraham Yeats. From there on thing are different. they have a son named Thomas Jefferson McClain. In my 2nt Great Grandmother record I have it that he died on 20 Dec 1828. At this time Mary married Thomas May and 5 or six kids came with this union. They were found in the 1830 census in Green county Georgia. They moved from there to Rome Floyd Co. GA. At about the same time there was a Pleman R William and a William C Williams came from Green Co to Floyd Co about the same time. They lived very close to each other. I fell they were Mary brothers.
