my husbands family are looking for their great grandfather william gibbs, we think he married virginia strong and had children with her. when they divorced virginia took the gibbs name away and put her maiden name strong to them.
we were wanting to know why she did this and whatever happend to william gibbs our grandfather.
he was born abt. 1836 in clay county kentucky. we want to know his race and any other info that we might can get.
