We have always been told that the family came from Germany, it has never been a debateable issue. I have a antique straight razor that belonged to George, it was his father's. My mother remembers George, and says he did not have a accent, so we are assuming that his father or his fathers father were the generations that moved to the US. Its nice to see some one on this forum, I was afraid they were going to yank it before there were any responses.
