Willcoxsons and U.S. Mint

Anyone know of a connection between Willcoxsons and the U.S. Mint?

At our 1999 Wilcoxon/Wilcoxen family reunion in Washington County, Ohio (most of us are
from Parkersburg, W.Va./Belpre, Ohio area), a relative said he had heard a story that the first
Wilcoxon came to America at the request of Benjamin Franklin to help establish the U.S.
Mint. Never heard that one before. Ring any bells with anyone?
