Hi, this is my first post to the Williams message board. I am hoping that someone has information about my g grandmother, "Queen O. Victoria Williams" born in 1860, Shelby Co. Alabama. She married my g grandfather, Joseph Micheal Collins (some family papers have it as Michael Joseph Collins) born 1857 , in Ireland. They were married on December 8th 1879. I am trying to determine what her parents names are? The paper work I have was put together by my uncle Jewel Deason and he only list her Father as: Williams, ____; Mother as: Williams Millie. ( I've been poking around at some different sites trying to see what I could find. And haven't had much luck. I did find on The Shelby Co. Wiliams, Hilrey H. Green, Milley 06/15/1848 295
Joseph Michael Collins was killed in a mining accident in January 1881, my grandfather was born in April of that year.
My uncle goes on to say that Q. O. Victoria Williams-Collins later married James Witcher. But he doesn't give a year for that or any information to indicate if they had children.
